Umar ibn al-Khattab (40 BC / 584 AD – 23 AH / 644 AD) nicknamed “Al-Faruq” and his nickname is “Abu Hafs”. He is the second of the rightly-guided caliphs and the first to be called the Commander of the Faithful, one of the eldest companions of the Messenger Muhammad, and one of the ten missionaries of paradise, the first to work on the Hijri calendar.

The caliph of the Muslims remained after the death of the first caliph Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, and during his reign, Iraq and Egypt, Libya, the Levant and Palestine were conquered and Jerusalem, which has a great position among Muslims, remained under their control for the first time, Persia, Khurasan, eastern Anatolia, southern Armenia and Afghanistan.

During his reign, the Persian Empire, which was one of the great powers at this time, was decreed, and the next great powers let the Byzantine Empire lose a country by interfering with the empire, a large income like Egypt and the Levant.

He was famous for justice and had many contributions to politics, state building and religion, who brought up the law and the document, which was introduced to the age bond to secure the people of the book on their places of worship and their properties. In the year 23 AH corresponding to 644 CE, he was assassinated by a Persian named Fayrouz, known as Abu Lu’loua, in the mosque at prayer time.

His life before Islam

He was born in 40 BC / 584 AD, a year after the year that was marked by the Year of the Elephant, and after the birth of the Prophet Muhammad Battacher a year, in Mecca in the Quraysh tribe of Lubna Uday, who had a great affair. He was young and learned to read and write, which was a rare thing At that time, he was a wrestling and equestrian, and interested in poetry.

When he grew up for a while, he began to work in commerce, which remained good in it and remained one of the richest Quraysh. He had a great position in the middle of the Quraysh tribe, and he was among its supervision and freedom to play the role of ambassador, and one of his powers was that he spoke on behalf of the Quraysh with the Kabyles and other countries and resolved their succession when problems occurred. He was known for his justice, severity, courage and strength.

عمر بن الخطاب (40 ق.هـ / 584م – 23 هـ / 644 م) الملقب بـ “الفاروق” و كنيته “ابو حفص”. هو تاني الخلفاء الراشدين و أول من اتسمى بأمير المؤمنين ومن أكابر اصحاب الرسول محمد و واحد من العشرة المبشرين بالجنة، اوّل من عمل بالتقويم الهجري.

أصبح خليفة المسلمين بعد وفاة الخليفة الاول ابو بكر الصديق و فى عهده فتحت العراق ومصر , ليبيا و الشام و فلسطين و بقت القدس , اللى لها مكانة كبيرة عند المسلمين تحت سيطرتهم لاول مرة , بلاد فارس و خرسان و شرق الأناضول وجنوب أرمينيا و أفغانستان.

فى عهده اتقضى على الامبراطوريه الفارسيه اللى كانت واحده من القوى العظمى فى الوقت ده , و خلى القوى العظمى التانيه الامبراطوريه البيزنطيه تفقد بلاد بتدخل للامبراطوريه دخل كبير زى مصر والشام.

اشتهر بالعدل و كان له اسهامات كتيره فى سياسية و بناء الدولة و الدين و اللى طلع القانون و الوثيقة اللى اتعرفت بالعهدة العمرية لتئمين اهل الكتاب على اماكن عبادتهم و ممتلكاتهم.

فى سنة 23 هـ الموافق 644 م , اغتاله واحد فارسى اسمه فيروز المعروف باسم ابو لؤلؤة فى الجامع وقت الصلاة.

حياته قبل الاسلام

اتولد فى 40 ق.هـ / 584م ,بعد سنة من السنة اللى اتسمت ب عام الفيل و بعد مولد النبى محمد بتلاتشر سنة, فى مكة ف قبيلة قريش لبنى عدى اللى كان لها شان كبير .

وهو صغير اتعلم القراءة و الكتابة , وده كان شىء نادر فى الوقت ده , و كان غاوى مصارعه و فروسيه و مهتم بالشعر. لما كبر شوية ابتدى يشتغل ف التجارة , اللى بقى كويس فيها و بقى من اغنياء قريش.

كان له مكانة كبيرة و سط قبيلة قريش و كان من اشرافها و خلوه يقوم بدور السفير و كان من صلحياته انه يتكلم باسم قريش مع القبايل و البلاد التانيه و حل خلافتهم لما تحصل مشاكل. كان مشهور بالعدل و الشدة و بشجاعته و قوته.
